Youth aged 11-15 years are invited to take our Babysitter Training certificate course, from the Ontario Safety League, covering all aspects of babysitting.

Learn how to supervise babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children and handle common situations. Some topics covered in the Babysitter’s Handbook, provided by Canada Safety Council © including, child development and play, caring for the child, appropriate nutrition, behaviour, and misbehaviour of children, handling emergencies, child safety and more! Participants must attend both days of the course, pass the examination and display and responsible and mature attitude to receive their certificate of completion.

What you should bring to the course:

  • Life-size doll or stuffed animal toys
  • Writing utensil
  • Lunch, refreshments, and snacks
  • Eagerness to become a great babysitter

Payment is collected day-of; we accept cheques payable to ‘DHHF’, debit and credit, thank you!
